Camping in the countryside of Benevento

The verdelandia park covers an area of about 10 hectares, which is partly wooded, about 15,000 square metres, partly flat with beaten earth and grass and hilly areas. On the slopes of the grove runs a stream with a small waterfall. The land is completely uncultivated and, given its size, allows for camping with tents, campers and caravans. It is suitable for total immersion in nature with hikes in the grove and cyclo-cross trails. You can come across species of animals living in total freedom such as foxes, wild boars, squirrels, while it is frequented by pheasants and other bird species. It is easy to spot as it is about 2 km from the San Giorgio del Sannio motorway exit, it borders the municipality's sports field and is bordered by the provincial road for about 1 km. It is partly wooded with olive trees.

You will find a barbecue to fully enjoy the camping experience. The experience is suitable for couples, families with children, groups of friends, as well as solo travellers. Your four-legged friends are welcome.

It is possible to visit Pietrelcina, the birthplace of St Padre Pio, 16 km away. Benevento is 8 km away. You can take a guided tour of the city, visiting the Trajan Arch, the church of Santa Sofia, the Roman theatre, and the museum. For food and wine tours, you can visit the Aglianico di Taurasi wine cellars 16 km away, or the Falanghina Beneventana in the neighbouring municipalities of Sannio. While, for food supplies and not less than 1.5 km away. there are various supermarkets and specialised shops. Basically, you are immersed in total greenery and only a few minutes from the town centre!
