Parking area in the Gargano

I share a space for tents, campers and caravans. This is not the usual bare pitch, here you will find yourself immersed in greenery, surrounded by nature and 10 km from the sea. You will find yourself in San Giovanni Rotondo, in the province of Foggia.

The area is partially fenced and there is a barbecue on site to fully enjoy the camping experience. You will be provided with a reserved parking space. The experience is suitable for couples, families with children, groups of friends, but also solo travellers. Your four-legged friends are welcome.

The village of San Giovanni Rotondo is very suggestive, made up of characteristic alleys, balconies and external stairways embellished with flowers and plants. The historic center is characterized by churches, monuments and palaces. The Capuchin friar Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, today a saint, lived here for a long time, whose remains are kept here and for this reason it is one of the most visited sites for religious tourism. You will find yourself 10 km from the sea in the city of Manfredonia and at the foot of the Valle dell'Infermo where you can make the excursion. Furthermore, it is possible to go on excursions by bike along paths which are partly dirt and partly paved. Take a trip to the charming town of Rodi Garganico and the touristic Lido del Sole, from where you can easily reach some of the most characteristic villages in the area, including Carpino and Cagnano Varano. Otherwise, take the coast road to reach the coastal towns of Rodi, Peschici and Vieste, which come alive with events and entertainment for everyone during the summer.
