I share a space for tents, campers and caravans in Policoro, in the province of Matera. Our holiday area is located in the countryside 30 minutes from the Sassi of Matera ,10 minutes from the sea, a quiet and relaxing area on private property.This is the perfect pitch as a base for exploring the surroundings.

The services available are water, drinking water, electricity, a reserved car park, a shared bathroom and an external table to be able to eat all together. We have water and electricity connections for trucks. The experience is suitable for couples, families with children, groups of friends, but also solo travellers. Your four-legged friends are welcome.

Today, the Policoro wood is the pearl of a stretch of the Ionian Sea that has just been ennobled by four Blue Flags. And it is still a place in itself, in the south. A mix of dense vegetation and intricate marshy areas. A relic of the hardwood forest that, until land reform, covered much of the coast. To meet the sea in person there is the lido di Policoro, a long stretch of fine golden sand that alternates bathing establishments with large stretches of free coastline between the mouths of the Agri and the Sinni. The beaches here are sandy, with shallow waters, bordered at times by dunes and Mediterranean scrub.
