Glamping in a tipi Indian tent in the beautiful environment of the Ligurian Alps

An area totally immersed in nature in an alpine environment a stone's throw from the sea: the Ligurian Alps. We are in the pretty and well-kept village of Chionea with the majestic view of Pizzo di Ormea. Wonderful walks in the woods with centuries-old chestnut trees and trekking at high altitude. small lakes and waterfalls compliment this spectacular setting and corner between Piedmont and Liguria. The Tent has beds with comfortable mattresses and linen and duvet on request. The bathroom is a short distance away in a small house next to the Refuge where you can order breakfast, lunch or dinner of your choice with typical local products. The town of Ormea is only 4.5 km away on a paved road where you will find a wide choice of family-run shops, pizzerias and restaurants. We do not recommend using the tent in adverse weather conditions as it is not fully protected from the rain. Barbecue facilities are available at a small extra cost. It is possible to arrive near the tent on a smooth, asphalted road and park in the church square or next door, a stone's throw from the Chionea refuge. The area enjoys an excellent microclimate, being located close to the Ligurian coast from which it benefits from the mild Mediterranean climate. The classic Ormea Balcony offers spectacular views and is the jewel in the crown of this area.
