Gerbas Free Camping

Description "The Gerbas" is a farmhouse dating back to 1732, renovated and immersed in the green hills of Turin, where meadows, woods and nature are the masters. Immersed in tranquillity, your gaze sweeps far and wide, fascinated by the wonderful view of the Monte Rosa group and the Canavese plain. The structure is not far from the charismatic city of Turin. Our farmhouse is at your disposal as a parking area for campers or free camping for tents. We are in the vicinity of two sections of the Via Francigena, and you can easily reach the Superga-Vezzolano-Crea path, as well as the micaelica road. Services For any needs such as the loan of bicycles, hairdryers, the use of PCs, the availability of the kitchen, the use of the washing machine, or the need for pillows and blankets, breakfast, or a shuttle service, we are at your disposal to help you organise your holiday. Pets are welcome on our campsite. Picoolo playground for children. Surroundings Close to the farmstead are various cycle paths such as: Vento, Corona verde, Eurovelo 8. There is plenty of fun for mountain bikers as well as for those who enjoy walking and hiking (also on horseback - two/three riding stables are quite close by). In addition to the nearby city of Turin, which is well worth a visit, the Abbey of Vezzolano, the Basilica of Superga, the Cavour Canal, the historical centres of Casalborgone, Chieri and Castelnuovo Don Bosco, Villa Cinema, Villa Bria, the Castle of Montaldo (also spa), and much more, all within a half-hour drive from our parking area. For fashion and shopping lovers about 20 minutes' drive away is the Turin Outlet Village, opened in spring 2017. For some summer swimming, the swimming pools of Chivasso and San Mauro are within easy reach. Well-known mountain resorts can be reached for a day trip. In addition to cars, bicycles, motorbikes, and camper vans, to travel to the city there is a dial-a-ride bus service that complements the public service, called MeBUS: it can be booked by telephone via a toll-free number relating to the area of interest.
