Garden in Vallo della Lucania, in Salerno

We are located in Vallo della Lucania, in the heart of Cilento. The area is located in the garden of Casale Buon Riparo, a guest house surrounded by greenery, among centuries-old olive trees, seasonal vegetable gardens and many farm animals. We are at 3km from the center of Vallo della Lucania, 20km from Velia and the sea, 30km from the summit of Monte Gelbison, where the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Sacro Monte is located. There is a large piece of land full of luxuriant greenery where you can park in a tent and camper.

The services available are water, electricity, wifi and a private car park. Outside you will find a table and a barbecue to fully enjoy the camping experience. The experience is suitable for couples, families with children, groups of friends, but also solo travellers. Your four-legged friends are welcome.

Wall of Lucania. For its inhabitants and for those of the surrounding towns it is simply Vallo. The center of commerce, the most important reference point for services in Cilento. This is why in Vallo the real protagonist is the territory. Located in the center of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park, the town is framed to the east by the massif of Monte Gelbison and to the west by Monte Stella. Vallo's history has its roots in the 9th century, when it was baptized as Castrum Cornutorum, from the name of its founders. In the beginning the town was divided into two farmhouses, Spio and Cornuti, with a river to underline the separation, now covered. We will have to wait for Gioacchino Murat for the annexation of the farmhouses of Massa, Angellara and Pattano, the current hamlets.
