Facility Description
The facility for tents and campers is in the province of Naples, in Campania. A name that says it all, for cultural tourism immersed in nature. The facility is located in open countryside, between the green Lattari Mountains and the blue sea of the Amalfi Coast. We provide a wooded garden for tents and for campers and caravans. You can enjoy ample space in the shade of plants and vineyards. A place of peace and relaxation between the mountains and the sea of the Sorrento peninsula.
Services
The area is fully fenced, there are toilets and ample parking. We offer local agricultural products, organic produce and a restaurant based on typical Mediterranean cuisine (Intangible Heritage of Humanity;) served with DOC "Costa D'Amalfi Basileo" wine produced and bottled at the farm's own winery. Guests can participate in guided tours of the vineyards, lessons in typical local cuisine and the production and transformation of traditional, home-made liqueurs. Those who stay at the farm have the opportunity to participate in agricultural activities such as grape harvesting, picking of typical Sorrentine walnuts, vegetables and fruit in general, and cleaning of the forest, through which they can learn about real life on the farm. Wine tours, cooking lessons. Motorbikes can be hired on site, if you prefer to leave your car at the camping area.
Surroundings
The garden is about 10 km from the coast and 12 km from Amalfi, half an hour's drive from Pompeii excavations, about an hour's drive from the Greek temples of Paestum, Sorrento, the historic centre of Naples, Vesuvius and the Royal Palace of Caserta. About 10 minutes by car, it is possible to embark for Capri. We have tourist guides with maps for excursions and trekking on the entire Amalfi Coast. The Amalfi Coast, also known as the 'Divine Coast' for its breathtaking views, enjoys a significant worldwide tourist presence almost all year round. To experience it at its best, we recommend walks along the numerous paths and through the towns.
