Bungalow in Baratti, Surrounded by Trees

Our proposal differs from classic camping and gives the opportunity to be immersed in silence and to have a deep contact with the forest and with oneself. We are located on the promontory that connects Baratti and Piombino and is dotted with dirt roads from which you can leave for excursions by bicycle and/or on foot to reach the sea. We are 5 minutes from the main road that makes it easy to travel along the coast and inland. The water available for washing and cleaning is entirely recovered from the rains or taken from the adjacent well.For the shower, self-produced ecological solid soap will be provided and for the dishes coffee, vinegar and self-produced enzymatic soap.Totally self-sufficient from the energy point of view, it has an island photovoltaic system and therefore allows a lower consumption than the classic electric supplies. The system supports the charging of cell phones, PCs, electric bicycle batteries and other low-voltage items.The classic refrigerator is not available, but we have available an "old" invention: refrigeration inside the well. A toilet is present is dry. Conscious shopping: our friends and neighbors are happy to provide you with excellent local seasonal products such as Marco's wine, Michele's fermented foods, and Vale's vegetables. Amenities: Our accommodations have a communal kitchen, an eating area, a bathroom (compost toilet) and a shower. They are available Wi-Fi and basic charging service (see electricity section) and electricity are available. This bungalow can accommodate up to two people as there is only one double bed.Breakfast service every morning.We are available to prepare the various breakfast suggestions; we use only local products, most of them our own. In addition, 2 evenings a week you will have the opportunity to experience the excellent dinners prepared by Simo who provides her international culinary art with traditional dishes revisited. All primary services (pharmacy, fuel, grocery and tobacco, supermarkets) are available within a few kilometers from the grounds.We recommend getting a map of the promontory to discover the thousands of uncrowded coves this area offers us. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Gulf of Baratti early in the morning or in the evening at sunset and enjoy its magical pine forest.
