Farm Folaga Rossa

"Structure Description The 'Folaga Rossa' farm is immersed in a natural park in the city of Verona, Veneto. The centre can be reached in 15 minutes by bike or 10 minutes by car. In our field we provide space for camping in tents, campers or caravans. We grow vegetables exploring the meaning and practices of peasant agriculture in an urban context. We follow the principles of agroecology with respect for biodiversity, health and the planet's resources. A part of the camp is dedicated to the activities of a collective garden and rural tourism through which we can learn about and experience farming. La Folaga also contributes to the enhancement of the Adige Park with educational visits, excursions and rural tourism activities, recognised by the Region. Services The facility provides water and a shared bathroom. Outside there are relaxation areas with hammocks, tables and a playground for children. We sell vegetables and fruit according to the producer-consumer method, guaranteeing healthy, local and seasonal products. We organise educational visits, walks and sensory trails among the vegetables, officinal and wild herbs, education on the environment, farming practices and proper nutrition. Surroundings The surrounding area is rich in nature trails for walking or cycling. Within 10 minutes by car or 15 minutes by bicycle you can reach the city of Verona, a charming medieval town. For lovers of eno-gastronomic tourism, a few kilometres away you will find Lake Garda with its picturesque villages where you can taste local products.
